What does it mean to confess Jesus as Lord?

To confess Jesus as Lord means a total surrender of one’s life to Him. There is no such thing as conversion without consecration.

Rom 10:9

That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
